    PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course

    PADI Discover Scuba Diving Is One of the Most Enjoyable Ways of Discovering If Scuba Diving Is for You. During Your PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience You Will Learn 6 Basic scuba diving Skills in a Pool and then we will take you on 2 Open Water Scuba Dives where you'll explore the Underwater World of scuba diving under the Direct Supervision of your PADI Scuba Diving Instructor.

    The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course Counts Towards Your PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Certification. Upon Completion of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course You Will Have the Opportunity to Continue Your Training and Become a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Diver with just a few additional short classes and 2 more open water dives with your PADI Scuba Diving Instructor.

    Everyone who participates in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course will receive a certificate of participation. This does not certify you to go scuba diving. It is a certificate that lets PADI and PADI professionals know that you have participated in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course.

    Ages
    The PADI Discover Scuba diving course is available for ages 10 Years and Older.


    Prerequisite
    The Only Prerequisites Is a Curiosity for scuba diving, Exploration and Adventure..

    Course Outline
    We begin the PADI Discover scuba diving course with a safety orientation on the effects of pressure while scuba diving then we will teach you about the scuba diving equipment and its operation. After your scuba diving safety orientation and scuba diving equipment set up its time to get into the pool and begin practicing scuba diving skills.

    1. You will learn how to breathe from a scuba regulator while underwater.
    2. You will learn how to clear a scuba regulator of water while underwater.
    3. You will learn how to recover a scuba regulator of water while underwater
    4. You will learn how to clear a mask of water while underwater.
    5. You will learn equalization techniques for your ears and your mask
    6. You will learn how to inflate and deflate your BCD (Buoyancy Compensation Device) at the surface.


    Then it's off to your open water dives.
    During your open water scuba dives you will have the opportunity to practice the scuba diving skills that you have learned in the while exploring the marine environment under the direct supervision of your PADI scuba diving instructor.
    These scuba diving sites are shallow dives between 20 and 30 feet.
